Alaskan webmaster and entrepreneur Peter Torkelson (pictured above) has a real cheap way to send thousands of daily visitors who want to know more about Sarah Palin to your website. How cheap? His opening offer, $0.01 per each unique IP or a CPM of about $10. Not bad considering Google is currently getting around $1500 CPM for anything Barack or McCain related. Many people will even say that there’s more value in type-in traffic than that of paid search. What a deal!
So first of all, why isn’t someone jumping on this? I tried to buy a couple days worth of traffic just for the hell of it. Seems Mr. Torkelson has some minimum requirements which I’m not ready to commit to. Only time will tell if and when someone from either political camp will jump into action and acquire the rights (at least until November 5th) to this highly prized domain.
My advice for Mr. Torkelson, sell this thing off as quickly as possible. Because you have little chance of hanging onto it much longer. Move to Canada Heaven help you if McCain and Palin actually take office.
Update: Mr. Torkelson requires a minimum of $0.01 per unique visitor. Based on the stats that he provided in emails, the daily cost would probably be around $80 to $100 per day. He requires a one month commitment. Any questions just direct them to him. His email is listed on the website.
